Copyright Policy

The Great Wall of Art, (Pty) Ltd. (TGWOA) has the authority to remove artworks which infringe upon the copyright of others.

The Great Wall of Art may, at its own discretion, disable and remove user accounts or artworks which are infringing on another artist’s/person’s copyright.

If you are a copyright holder or a person whom is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder, who believes their copyright has been infringed, please send an email to with the subject ‘Copyright infringement’. Please include the following information in the email:

  1. Please provide us with identification and information on the work/works whose copyright you believe is being infringed.


  1. Provide us with a URL link (which can be found in the browsers address bar) to the work in question on our website after which we will then temporarily remove the work/works from the website, until we have thoroughly investigated the case and either reinstate the work or permanently remove the work.


  1. Please include the following clause in your email:


“I hereby agree that all provided information is correct and accurate, under penalty of perjury. I believe a copyrighted work is being used without consent from the owner of the copyright. I am thus making a case of copyright infringement.”


  1. Please provide your Name, Surname, Email address, telephone number and a physical or digital signature on the document.
